With All-on-4, it’s possible to get strong and stable new teeth in one day, usually without the need for bone grafting. Dr. Mencini is dedicated to providing the best, evidence-based dental implant technology and techniques and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education to expand her dental implant skills.

If you’re living with tooth loss, broken teeth, extensive decay, or are frustrated with ill-fitting dentures, full-mouth dental implants in Mesa, AZ are a transformative procedure that will restore your smile and life!

Dentures And Bridges Versus All-On-4 Dental Implants

While dentures and bridges can help restore the partial function of natural teeth, they don’t stimulate the underlying bone nor restore existing bone loss like dental implants.

In addition to requiring adhesive, traditional dentures can slip and need to be removed at night and cleaned in a denture solution. Full and partial dentures are viable tooth replacement options for many people, however, no other solution provides the long-lasting, life-changing advantages of full arch dental implants.

The All-on-4 protocol reduces postoperative discomfort, bleeding, swelling, and bruising, enabling many patients to resume normal activities as soon as the day after getting dental implants. Once they fuse with your underlying bone, dental implants provide secure support for beautiful new teeth that stand the test of time.

Enjoy A Dream Smile
The Streamlined Way

When you receive All-on-4 dental implants in Mesa, AZ, this innovative protocol enables Dr. Mencini to place dental implants and temporary new teeth in just one visit, in most cases.

Because All-on-4 dental implants maximize the use of available bone, even patients with insufficient jawbone density are good candidates for this “teeth in a day” procedure.

If you need bone grafting or extraction of remaining teeth, this can sometimes be done in the same visit as surgery.

Step One: Consultation and Planning

At your first in-depth consultation, Dr. Mencini will discuss your functional and aesthetic smile goals, perform an oral exam and diagnostic imaging with a cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scanner to analyze your bone structure, nerve tissue, and sinus cavities, and plan accurate surgery.

Step Two: Guided Implant Surgery

Using digital technology, Dr. Mencini creates a streamlined, preplanned, and customized solution that eliminates the possibility of error. The 3D image from the CBCT scan is used to virtually and meticulously plan your surgery to ensure it is smooth and precise.

Tilting the posterior (back) dental implants at a 45-degree angle usually prevents the need for bone grafting, although a small number of patients may require a grafting procedure. The anterior (front) implants can be placed vertically since bone loss is less common in front teeth.

Step Three: Healing and Temporary Teeth

At the end of your appointment, you’ll be fitted with a provisional set of teeth crafted from acrylic resin and enjoy an instantaneous improvement to your smile’s beauty and confidence.

Step Four: Healing and Final Restoration

It takes dental implants four to six months to fuse with new bone growth in your jaw in a process called osseointegration and provide a strong, long-lasting foundation for your new teeth.

After the dental implants have integrated fully and healing is complete, you’ll return to our practice to receive your final set of teeth crafted from zirconia. This superb dental ceramic offers beautiful and natural-looking aesthetics is strong and resistant to chips and can even withstand tooth grinding (bruxism).
